As you should. Sure, he could TRY to kill Gen, but the last guy who actually killed him became one of his bestest friends in the whole wide world. (Meanwhile Shinji's probably wondering why he didn't try this strategy all those years ago)

Because Shinji and Gentaro belong to fundamentally different shows with different moods and idealism levels?

Also, using Time Vent to manipulate events to a desired goal worked out REAL well for the last guy to try it...

I did like the fic, I'm just amused slightly by the differing viewpoints of someone who comes from Fourze's setting (power of friendship) versus someone from Ryuki...
