Oh, my god! I HATE Matt right now sooo much. I'm taking a guess that you really do visit our WITCH forum site (at least Mooncloud's site for the new comics) and there's a thread about "Matt being from Kandrakar". Personally, a lot of us think that having Matt become the girls' new trainer in the New Power saga was bullcrap. We did not like it when the comic writers decided to tell Will Vandom, "Hey, guess what? For the 7th saga, we've decided to make your boyfriend into an asshole and your superior who will act as if he knows more about magic than you and your friends, despite that you Guardians have a lot more experienced with saving the universe than him."
I like Matt Olsen better as the guitar player/normal earth boy who doesn't know how to fight than having him playing Batman (in this case, we're calling him "BatMatt" now). I had really enjoy seeing him asking Caleb for help in season 2. At least he doesn't sound and act like a condescending jerk. I had liked Matt the way he was at first up until the beginning of the 7th saga where the girls got their New Power costumes. I didn't really like the idea of having him as Shagon the 2nd time (while serving under Lilian) in season 2, but if I have to compare him with the new "BatMatt" in the recent comics, I'd prefer the Shagon Matt anytime. Just thinking about it makes me want to kick his butt around with the Heart of Kandrakar.
