We are home safe, but I won't be online for a bit due to forgetting my laptop charger at my brother's.
Sister-in-law is mailing it and I also ordered a replacement, but I have no ETA on which will arrive faster than next Saturday, assuming mail delivery is even possible.

Yeah, we got really lucky. Only damage was a few shingles coming off, causing an existing water stain to spread a little on my ceiling, and some metal coming off the overhang, exposing a huge wasp nest. We also escaped the worst flooding, since we're not along any of the rivers in my county, and we still had power and internet. My workplace on the other side of the county lost power and internet and ran on a generator until Wednesday.
Still coming down from the stress overall, though. Hurricanes are bad enough when they're not major, cat 3's are bad enough without climate change-induced Noah's Ark level rains, and being stressed is bad enough without precautionary evacuation.

Really hope you and yours keep being lucky.

Same here. Mom's planning on using some of the money from my grandmother and uncle to get a new roof, and she also wants to see if we'll have enough to upgrade our windows. Other than the back guest room (used to be my brother's, and before that it was a screened-in porch), everything about the house was built pre-Andrew. When my sister and I were discussing it, she confirmed my memory of Mom and Dad finding that the old roof was stapled on, when they were redoing it maybe 20 years ago.
