The team needs to brush up on their classic Power Rangers. How do you mistake a pterodactyl for a dragon? Unless you’re using it to push a Kim/Tommy ship? It really drives me nuts because they do this ALL EPISODE until it finally dawns on Gwen at the end that they're dinosaurs. Somewhere in Reefside, Dr. O is facepalming. Also, does Kevin not have emergency brakes on his car? Jury-Rig (sp?) might have destroyed the foot brake, but they have a backup just for that. Well, assuming that car companies plan for Ben Tennyson, which they probably do in this universe.
Okay, the whole Animo Farms thing really breaks the suspension of disbelief for me. I mean, come on. One of Ben’s oldest enemies starts up his own company and goes public like that? Really? Really? That’s like the Joker opening up a comedy club and running ads saying, “Batsy, not doing anything evil! Hahahaha!” It’s obviously a trap, and anyone trying that hard and failing to seem like a hick is really suspicious.
This episode is really stupid. Harmless, at least, but stupid. Tons of “Evolution does not work that way!” coupled with the headdesking of how you can’t solve problems like global warming that fast and it’s insulting in a kids’ superhero show (note what I said about “The Widening Gyre”). Also, the problem of humanity evolving, as shown with the Stupid Evil Sheriff? Yeah. We’re all becoming either Agito or Orphnochs. We’re doomed.
