I'm not too broken up about the lack of fight scenes--I prefer seeing more time devoted to character development (which this movie was sadly lacking in), and Kabuto's fight scenes are terrible anyway. They've got one gimmick, and they don't do anything creative with it. The whole space battle, for example--they could have done something awesome with wirework for zero-gravity and use Clock Up as an excuse for why more stuff isn't blowing up around them, and they totally ignored the laws of space.
Eight times out of ten, I will spot a Ryuki parallel. I'm that big a dork.
Well, here's hoping. I'm relieved I watched Paradise Lost after I finished 555, or I would have been screaming.
