I have inadvertently thought of The Daily Show with Ultraman Blazar.

This guy, wearing a suit and sitting behind a desk, "talking" politics with Michael Kosta, Jordan Klepper, Desi Lydic, etc.

And given the way the world is, Blazar would probably make more sense than anything going on the news.
