In space, everybody can hear you?

It's a fanfic for a sci-fi franchise that is very loose on the "sci."
In short, nobody other than you is going to give a damn that there's really no way they should be able to hear a ship or someone shouting on a loudspeaker in outer space.
Besides, you've seen plenty of evidence of characters just...talking and hearing in space with no problem.
Although this did lead to a very fun discovery of NASA converting Hubble images into sound, while trying to research some kind of bullshit reason that anybody might be able to hear any of this. I'd honestly love some of these to be used with music.
