Picspam: Dark Visor

akinoameSo one of the things I've always wanted is one of the Visors from Ryuki, specifically either Drag Visor or Dark Visor. But with Ryuki being over 10 years old now, it's hard to find the toys for cheap.
Then I found a Dark Visor for under $30. With shipping about $17, I really couldn't pass it up.
Apologies for the photo. For some reason, Photobucket is now allergic to vertical pictures. Anyway, that's my new toys, and while it's a little beat up from use, it's still in good working condition.
Like in the show, if you pull on the tab, it opens up the card reader. No Advent Cards came with it, though.
And since I actually HAVE Knight's deck, I figured I'd use what I have. As you can see, the color of the Visor doesn't really match the deck, which is weird. I guess I'm used to the toys being designed to be more compatible these days, what with Fourze and all.
Speaking of toys pre-Fourze or whenever not being as compatible, the Advent Cards that came with the deck (to the Legend V-Buckle) don't quite fit in the Visor. It looks like there's supposed to be a notch or something in the card for it to hold better and read it (I think I remember something about the toy versions of the cards having holes for really old school input, as opposed to our newfangled barcodes and all)
So this left a bend in my card. No big deal, to be honest, since I don't freak out about things not being in pristine condition--I like to PLAY with my toys after all--but a little disappointing that it wasn't compatible. I guess the cards that came with the Legend V-Buckle must have been trading cards.
Because I remembered noticing a thornlike pattern on Figuarts Knight's Visor, I checked the hilt of my toy. There it is! Also, there's a button that allows for the sound effects and flashing when the sword is turned on. (Mine is pretty sensitive)
But not so sensitive that it didn't take me forever to take a shot of the thing lit up like that.
Anyway, not a bad buy, from sakura--sakura on ebay. Also, because I forgot during the Gavan picspam, I picked him up from bsstorejapan13, and they were super-fast and great.
