Just two episodes ago, the Lieutenant had been temporarily bonded with Nexus, and Daichi had tried to help her adjust to the stress while being careful not to reveal his identity

He finally heard her, and her feelings for him brought him back
And apparently X was with him all along?
Since he had strong feelings for X and is this a ship?
Am I supposed to ship Daichi/X?

Gomora has been with him since childhood, so he's able to bring him back
And Gomora brings all of the other monsters with him
All of the monsters agree to give X their cards, since it means they won't be erased
So we finally get to go back to the card system

I did like that they kept trying to stick to this theme of trying to find coexistence with monsters, but it still didn't show up quite enough
