Hikaru fic trouble

akinoameIt's annoying when the muses start arguing on how the fic should go, and then don't cooperate once you try to get to the next part.
Case in point, I feel like if I write the first chapter with more than one scene, it's unbalanced, especially with the rest. So having a plot thread that continues across a few chapters would be nice. However, that's clearly not what the muse wants.
...I'm going to have to rewrite all of chapter one so he listens, won't I?
