akinoameDecided to enter NaNoWriMo this year, with the goal of 15,000 words, or the equivalent of about 3 short chapters. It's a nice, low-stress goal, I think, since I'm treating it more as a matter of trying to do enough edits to hopefully get my Zero fic out by December. Otherwise 2022 is the first year I've gone without posting anything, though not for lack of writing. This is just a more complicated fic than I was expecting.
Got 938 words done today in a revamped scene for Chapter 9, one I'm much happier with, considering I was fighting this bit for the longest time. But dear god, I ended up with this one cameo show up right the hell out of nowhere, and the character decided not just to take over the scene, but to take over the subtle Babylon 5 reference too, by answering "Who are you? What do you want?" in the order of "Shadow Question, Vorlon Question," and so blatantly that I know the muse did it on purpose. Bastard.
